Green tea is often thought to have lots of health benefits for people who drink it on a regular basis. One to two cups a day is thought to be a good amount of tea to drink in order to enjoy the health properties that this type of tea holds.
Green tea is thought to be a great way of detoxing by lots of health advocates. They believe that this particular type of tea has the power to flush out your system, make you more hydrated and help to remove toxins from your bloodstream. It is also thought to be good for losing or maintaining weight due to the effect it can have upon metabolism.
As with many health products, much of this will be subjective. Green tea may help some people to lose weight but it may make little difference to others. However, it is certainly far healthier than other hot drinks like coffee.
